Erm, Gohan? You know that thing you can do where you focus your chi into physical spirit-attacks? [I'm assuming during whatever happened during the recent attacks and Gohan following Chuck around before probably getting told he could go home or go help people or however you want that to have worked out, that Charles told him about his telepathy in a bit more detail, and that Gohan showed him his own powers, sort of, to a degree.]

Well, when I go to the astral-plane, which is a place where telepaths can go, and do spiritual battle or talk or whatever while using their minds, I can do the same thing you can do. My power became a spirit sword, and I even had a suit of armor made from energy! Anyways, I was wondering...there might be a way to do this in this plane of existence as well. I'm not sure that I would be capable but when I was young I had limited telekinetic abilities, which...essentially is sort of like what you can do.

I was thinking, perhaps, you might...be able to help me? [SO going to bring this up with mods, never fear. Was thinking they could do like a year training before Chuck can even start to do basic stuff, assuming the mods are even OK with this.]

[And pretty much literally that time, he's there, one cat tucked under each arm -- looking mildly grumpy, but whatever -- and his book balanced on his head.] Hey.

[He ticks up an eyebrow and catches the book before it can fall.]

... Then he notices the black cat and the amusement? ALL GONE. Oh HEEEEEEEEEEELL NO that better not be her!]

Oh. Thanks. [It would have been awkward to carry the book with one of the cats. Hence why it had been on his head.

[Headtilt.] What?

[He sets the cats down so that they can explore the area, Blair taking a particular interest in this new person. He cautiously trots over and starts smelling at Kuchiki-taichou's feet.]

[Not kicking the cat. Not. Kicking. The. Cat. Because it's not her. Not even she would be able to stay in Nueva Los Noches for so long, disguising her reiatsu. No, she couldn't. Not even she was that good.]

[He totally sees how fine you are. No, really. Because he's oblivious and doesn't notice the tension. Just like he's currently oblivious to Blair starting to climb up your leg.]

[He is not going to scream and flail like a girl. That's what Keigo is for. Sigh. Instead, he shifts to Gohan's other side, away from the evilblack cat.]

You did not suffer lasting injuries?

[He doesn't know how to help. He's bad at it. His helping usually involves flutteringstorming in and making everyone do as he says. That just... doesn't always work. Here, anyway.]

[Please, you should see the kid's dad scream and flail away from needles. Need to be put in a body cast? That's a-okay. But NO NEEDLES, NOOOO!]

[He glances over in Stein's direction to see that the grey cat has no interest in the new person and is instead lounging in a sunny patch and watching the whole episode dispassionately.

[Meanwhile, Blair mews cheerfully in his arms.]

The only bad one I had was healed by one of the other people there. And I heal quick, anyway.

[He's side-eyeing that cat. It's obviously her in disguise. Obviously.]

Physical injuries are not the only ones you might have come away with.

[See? He totally doesn't care. Nope. No caring about you at all.]

[The kitten remains as oblivious to the suspicion as its owner. Have a happily swaying tail.]

[He bows his head a little.] Honestly? The way people are reacting to all this is a lot scarier than the actual hunt. I can deal with the actual hunt stuff without much of a problem.

[So trying to edge away from that hell-cat bitchcat without seeming to. This is why he brought home a white cat.]

Many often overreact in ways that are disproportionate to the offense.
